Avant-garde popsters Sweat have enlisted the left-field production skills of innovative electronic artist Loraine James for a mind-bending remix of 'What Men Want' (see our List Pick for the original here). A year on, James breathes new life into the bouncy source material by taking snippets of the stems and warping them in entirely unexpected ways. Liberally applying effects including otherworldly reverbs and delays, as well as a prominent use of pitch shift, James' creative interpretation of the melodic original is described by Sweat as "a bit of a glitch onslaught", and we'd be inclined to agree.
